As the year comes to a close here at Gunggandji Aerospace we are reflecting on the blockbuster year we have had! As we prep for lift off for 2025, we wanted to look back at Gunggandji’s biggest milestones in the last 12 months.

Space Connect’s Indigenous Business of the Year!
We were thrilled to receive Space Connect’s Indigenous Business of the Year award for 2024. This award highlights our dedication to the aerospace industry and our goal of fostering inclusive career opportunities in space, for all Australians. Thank you to Space Connect for the recognition and event.
Raising Horizons Program
This year Gunggandji Aerospace partnered with the Australian Government, NRL Cowboys House, Aviation Australia and Rex Airlines to launch the Raising Horizons Program. A program focused on inspiring Indigenous youth, particularly girls to pursue careers in aviation. Launching this initiative in Queensland earlier this year was a standout event for Gunggandji Aerospace, and we look forward to continuing the program and partnerships in the years to come!

Earlier this year Gunggandji Aerospace unveiled its new and improved website!
We revamped our look to match the ambition of our mission as Australia's only Indigenous aerospace consultancy.
We shared our vision and mission across Australia
Gunggandji Aerospace will continue to share our mission of inspiring the next generation of young aviation experts! From creating unique pathways for young Indigenous Australians to enter careers in aerospace, to providing expert aviation and defence consultancy, and exploring aerospace research and development, 2024 has been one to remember.
